Biography

Nathalie COCHARD lives and works in Charente-Maritime.

In the early 2000s, she decided to formalize her practice by joining an art studio. She explored different techniques, but it was ultimately oil painting that allowed her to fully express herself and bring her ideas to life.

Over the years, she has had the opportunity to enrich her teaching under the guidance of renowned painters. This allows her to free her gestures to find her own pictorial style, to play with color and light, which constitute the essential elements of her artistic approach.

In 2021, she discovered urban sketching, a practice that opened up new perspectives and deepened her view of the world around her.

The artist works from personal photos or sketches made on the spot prior to creation.

His work is an invitation to travel, to dream, to escape.
